The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce Chattanooga FC goalkeeper Gregory Hartley as the recipient of the 2015 NPSL Golden Glove award. The award, given to the league’s top goalkeeper, was voted on by NPSL teams throughout the country.

"Gregga (Greg) is so much more than a great goalkeeper,” Chattanooga FC General Manager Sean McDaniel commented. “He's become one of Chattanooga's adopted sons and is so engaged to our community.  We couldn't be happier with his performance both on and off the field."

Hartley registered nine shutouts and a 0.60 GAA in 15 NPSL matches this season.  He would claim 11 shutouts and a 0.63 GAA in 19 total matches from all competitions in 2015.  Hartley also received the 2014 NPSL Golden Glove award after leading Chattanooga to the national title game.

“It’s great being recognized again this year,” Hartley added. “This is also an award for our defense, which has been so impressive all season.  I couldn’t have done it without them.”

The Manchester, England native has spent time with the Manchester City Academy, Lindsey Wilson College, Belhaven University, and Georgia Gwinnett College.  Hartley ended his collegiate soccer career in the fall of 2012 after earning a laundry list of awards including NAIA All-American, SSAC Defensive Player of the Year, SSAC All-Conference Team, NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week, and SSAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
