Super Y ODP Players Headed to Florida for USL National Training

In 2003 The Super Y League began an identification process to identify players for US National Team programs. During The Super Y season players are evaluated by the opposing team coaches for tactical, physical and psychological characteristics that will determine their ability to attend ODP National Camp. Atlanta Fire United would like to Congratulate the following players chosen by ODP Scouts during Super Y League play who will attend IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Fla. During the months of February and March:

Boys:
Brennan Bauschka
Josh Bronstroph
Adam Kinsel
Alberto Reyes
Emmanuel Olusaya
Chris Mikus
Scott Inderrieden
Ernando Manrique
Bentley Denman

Girls:
Jessica Sauer
Amanda Delgado
Devin Gaskill
Danielle Marcano
Elexa Bahr
Clara Gastaldi
Gabriela Rivera

These talented young players will enter into a holistic program that features mental, physical and nutritional sessions as well as play analysis. USL National Technical Director Peter Mellor will oversee the program and make observations.

"I believe all of our players are hardworking and dedicated, but these 15 kids have shown they have something special.  They were identified by opposing coaches during the season or selected by a scout at Nationals as being game changers, leaders and players worthy of a National Camp.  This is quite an accomplishment, we are all very proud of them" commented Mark MacKain , Director of Operations and Girls Coaching, AFUSA.
