IGNITE: Pre-Season Fundamentals Camp

Overview

The Ignite Pre-Season Fundamentals Camp is designed specifically for new players or players looking to refresh their skills before the soccer season begins! This 2-day camp provides a supportive and engaging environment where young athletes can build confidence and develop essential soccer fundamentals.

If your child is just starting their soccer journey or wants a refresh in the fundamentals before joining their team, Ignite is the perfect introduction to the game with thoughtful coaching and fun, small-group activities.

Program Details

• Who: Boys and girls, ages U6–U12

• When:

  • Saturday, February 1

  • Sunday, February 2

• Times:

  • U6–U8: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

  • U10–U12: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

• Where: George Pierce Park

• Cost: $90

What to Expect

Ignite Camp is tailored for new and newer players, focusing on:

• Building Soccer Foundations: Introduction to dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic ball control.

• Game Awareness: Simple, engaging drills to help players understand positioning and teamwork.

• Agility and Coordination: Fun activities to enhance balance, footwork, and overall athleticism.

• Boosting Confidence: Positive coaching to ensure players feel ready to step onto the field with their team.

Led by experienced AFU coaches, Ignite Camp offers a welcoming environment where players can learn while having fun.

What to Bring

• Soccer ball (size 3 or 4 depending on age)

• Shin guards (covered by soccer socks)

• Fluids (water, Gatorade)

• Weather-appropriate clothing

REGISTRATIONS.
YOU MUST USE A DESKTOP OR LAPTOP COMPUTER TO REGISTER. 

STEP 1: You will need a TGS Parent Account to register your child.
*If you do not have an account you will need to create a parent account
first by clicking on TGS Parent Account Registration

Once you have created your Parent Account     

STEP 2: Click on the "Register Now" button below, login to your Parent
Account, Click "My Child" (on the left navigation) and add your child's information then follow the steps below:

Select My Children on the left navigation

Select Your Child you wish to register
Select Registration Programs

Select Public Program in your area
Select the Program you wish to register your child to *(Traditional Rec Soccer, NEW-First Kicks, NEW-Forge Developmental Series, or NEW-Ignite Pre-Season Fundamentals Camp)
Follow the prompts and complete all items required by the program
