Program Overview

Message From the Recreational Director

The AFU Recreational program’s goal is to create a fun, energetic atmosphere for all our players, coaches and families to enjoy. AFU’s well-established traditional recreation program is the foundation of our club and our players. It is our mission to provide each volunteer coach with the necessary equipment and knowledge in order to produce the best learning experience for our players and parents.

We are excited to be bringing our membership more recreational options than ever before beginning this fall. In coordination with Duluth Parks and Recreation we are going to be kick-starting AFU-Duluth at Bunten Road Park. We will be offering all our recreational programs at both AFU-Duluth (Bunten Rd Park) and AFU-Suwanee (George Pierce Park). Volunteers

Volunteers – How can I help?

Atlanta Fire United (AFUSA) needs volunteers. Our league is run by volunteer coaches, assistant coaches and team managers. How can you help? You can be your team’s volunteer as a field marshal.Assist on field day or help your coach by staying late with the child whose parent is a little late arriving after practice. Remove the trash that your team leaves behind after a practice or a match. As always, you can offer positive ways to improve our Club or the facilities. Finally, AFUSA is always looking for corporate sponsors. If you have an interest in helping, contact our league director at  [email protected]
