Jr. Academy Skill Training Program Overview

This is a supplemental program available for recreational players who are looking for additional training.
This is not a replacement for our recreational program.

  • Designed for 4 - 12 year old year old recreational players desiring additional quality training

  • The Jr. Academy does not replace the traditional recreational soccer

  • Challenging training sessions are a key ingredient to the personal development of the player

  • Prepares players for the AFU Academy and Select programs (available for players ages 8+).

  • Purpose of the program is to provide a solid foundation for players who love the game to build upon.

  • Opportunity for additional training from licensed Academy and Select coaches at AFU.

  • Fun activities are designed to maximize comfort with the ball and vision of the field.

  • Each training activity will help players improve technically (skills), tactically (decision-making), physically (fitness) and psychologically (mental toughness).
