AFU U9 and U10 Girls Escorted the US and the Dutch Women's Soccer Teams onto the field at GA Dome!

The U10G Gold team and the U9G Gold team of Atlanta Fire United were selected to be the official escorts for the USWNT vs. the Netherlands on September 18, 2016!

It was an incredible moment for this amazing group of girls! Thank you Nike and Russell Patmore for allowing our girls to have this "once in a lifetime" opportunity and experience!

The long anticipated day was finally here! The girls met at the GA Dome around 6pm to get ready for the big event.
First the girls needed to change into the Nike provided uniforms that kids who escort the US National Soccer Teams wear! The girls got even more excited to find out that they would be able to keep those uniforms. Next up was to hang out on the sidelines while both teams were warming up for the big game.
Don't they look good in their Nike Uniforms?  After the teams were finished the kids needed to practice the actual walk in. And then they were ready to go!  The girls were not only supper happy about being able to hold the hand of a World Champion soccer player and being the escort. They were also excited that the players talked to them and asked them questions during walk in.
